A seemingly gravity-defying ball travels around the dial to mark the time creating an eye-catching illusion. Based in California Dagan has designed numerous consumer and commercial products including hand-held computers and electronic instruments.
His innovative designs have been recognized in many patents and awards both in the United States and abroad. The Timesphere Clock reflects the Museum’s long history of documenting and displaying timepieces from the modern era many examples of which are featured in the Museum’s permanent collection.
