Description for Handpainted old India coin necklace
**WE ALWAYS SHIP TRACKED & OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING & FREE TRACKED SHIPPING WHEN YOU BUY $100 OR MORE**Very well-preserved 1 Anna coin from India, from when the country was still under the rule of the British Empire. This particular coin was only minted between 1942 and 1944, during the war. We painted this beautiful coin with a shimmery aqua and made the details pop with black.
In this series of painted coins, this is what we do: we paint the background then let it cure. We then polish, engrave and fix any imperfection with extra-fine brushes (2 hairs and 4 hairs) and then glue the coin on a medallion setting (yes, it is tedious and time-consuming :-) At the very end we glue a perfect glass dome on the coin which acts as a protective layer and as a magnifying glass- all the details become enhanced.
With a lobster claw clasp and always a 3 inch extension that you can use for adjustment (or remove).
All metallic components are lead, nickel and cadmium free.
