Description for New-Zealand Maori coin pendant
**WE ALWAYS SHIP TRACKED & OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING & FREE TRACKED SHIPPING WHEN YOU BUY $100 OR MORE**Striking 10 cents from New-Zealand, these coins were minted between 1967 and 1998. They were sadly removed from circulation in 2006, replaced by the same design, but smaller and made of bronze.
On the front we can see a stunning Maori Koruru (carved mask) inspired by the traditional mokos (face tattoos). Some revival of this art is ongoing in New-Zealand now among the Maori people- each Moko tells the story of the wearer and of his/her ancestors.
On the back you find Queen Elizabeth, New-Zealand and the year.
Diameter of coin is 23.6 mm.
In personalisation, please tell us if you want a simple/gender-neutral bail (hanger) or an intricate one as well as the length of your ALLOY chain.
In variations, please select the year of coin and the type of chain- alloy (mixed metals, lead and nickel free) or 925 Sterling Silver (20 inches long, no extension)
