This particular design circulated a long time in Portuguese pockets, from its release in 1927 all the way to 1968.
It measures 23 mm in diameter.
We have another listing with this same design but with a 1 escudo coin as well as a 1 copper escudo coin, with more recent years of mintage (1968-1979).
We can see "Allegory of the Republic" on the front and the Coat of arms of Portugal on the reverse.
We have many years of this coin but in most cases only one of each year. We will make sure to offer only what we have available. On a good quality ALLOY (mixed metals) chain (lead, nickel and cadmium free), lobster claw clasp and a 3 inch extension for adjustment. You can also have your pendant on a 925 Sterling Silver chain, 20 inches long, no extension. In variations, please select the length of the Alloy chain and the year of your coin.
In personalisation, please tell us if you want a simple/gender-neutral bail (hanger) or an intricate one and the length of your ALLOY chain.
